Stuggling with finding your passion in life?
Yes Iv have been there too
Here’s my story
At the age of 19 I started my first part time job in a marketing promotions department.
Around the age of 25 I became permanent at the same company, it was a call center agent position.
It took me almost 7 years to move from a part time position to a permanent position in the same company.
This was my journey working in a corporate environment, I always found myself wanting more and wanting to present and offer more. I was not given the opportunities that I reached out for.
Unfortunately my dreams wasn’t going to become a reality if I counted to accept a job that was not fulfilling and supporting my true potentials and passion in life, not to say that it does not support someone elses dreams as we all are different with different goals in life.
Do you ever feel like you wake up every morning just because you have two do a job that you don’t like just because you have to get paid?
Well that was me and I truly believe that if you wake up every morning and look forward to doing what you truly love every single day, then you don’t have to ever work another day in your life, as you are waking up to do what you truly love and what makes you happy! That to me is living of your true purpose and highest passion in life!
Noticed how we spend most of our awaking hours as adults? It’s working right? And that’s when I decided to dig deep and look within myself and asked myself what do I love doing every single day in my awaking hours?
I had to first learn about myself, who is Elesha? What are my likes and dislikes? Who are the type of people I like to surround myself with? What do I want for my life? Ect, I had to ask myself so many questions to start finding out about myself.
Nobody knows you better than you know yourself! Only you can unlock the real you and the life you truly deserve!
The answers just started coming to me as I got to know myself better day by day month by month. With self realizations. I was on a mission. I started to live of a more awaken and conscious part of me which I never experienced before.
While working in corporate I encountered so many challenges and so many learnings from my challenges, that I am so grateful for. If it was not for the challenges and learnings that I encountered it would have not thought me about myself and lead me to who I am today.
You see while we are in the process of thinking something is not working for us at the time we are experiencing a situation, we don’t realise that it could actually be working for us rather then against us. It is teaching us and molding us for something far greater says Elesha. If that challenge didn’t come along it would have not lead you down this new path of your life. We have to be grateful for everything weather it was good or we think it is bad. The situation is here to teach us and we can extract the learnings and lessons.
Which in my permanent position I had so many personal life challenges that I was so determined to find out who I am, and in this road to discovery I invested my time and money into personal development and it was one of the best decisions I could of ever made for myself.
Going for therapy can get you at least 5 to 6 years ahead in your life, in comparison to doing it on your own.
Taking myself so seriously made me take my studies and work in life coaching seriously as well. I enjoyed every moment of this process and that is why I love being a coach, it makes me want to get out of bed on a Monday morning and in the past I hated Monday mornings, now I wake up to do what I love everyday and that’s helping you to find out what you love doing everyday and to become a new remodel version of yourself.
